Tell your congressperson: Protect the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid

House Roll Call No. 256
115th Congress, 1st Session

Passed: 217-213 (see complete tally)

The U.S. House advanced the American Health Care Act (AHCA) despite the opposition of millions of constituents and the entire healthcare sector. Last week, the Congressional Budget Office reported that 23 million people will lose their healthcare under this bill. The AHCA will cut $834 billion from Medicaid, raise costs for older Americans, and allow insurance companies to charge sick enrollees higher premiums, effectively pricing them out of care.
