House Roll Call No. 194
114th Congress, 1st Session

Passed: 228-192 (see complete tally)

On May 1, 2015, the House passed (228-192) H.J. Res 43, a resolution disapproving the District of Columbia Council’s passage of the Reproductive Health Non-Discrimination Amendment Act of 2014 (RHNDA), a local law which prohibits employment discrimination in D.C. based on reproductive health care decisions.  The ACLU vigorously opposed H.J. Res 43 because it was intended to stop the RHNDA from taking effect in D.C., and would have allowed D.C. employers to use religion to discriminate.
