Free speech is under attack in North Dakota
Politicians have proposed a package of bills targeting protesters. House Bill 1203 proposes a liability exemption of a driver who strikes a protestor, HB 1304 would prohibit the wearing of masks, and HB 1193 increases the penalty for disorderly conduct when it causes “economic harm”—presumably to a company such as the case of the Dakota Access Pipeline protests.

I urge you to vote NO on HB 1193, HB 1203, and HB 1304, three bills that unnecessarily target Dakota Access Pipeline protesters.

Wearing a mask is not criminal but mowing down a protester should be.

Please vote NO on this package of harmful bills.
